Omar Mansoor, the man behind the fabulous couture brand, launched his Confetti collection at this year’s London Fashion Week. A beautiful collection showcasing a variety of full length and mid length dresses as well as jumpsuits. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the show, I can see from looking at the photographs that it was indeed a fantastic show.
A jaw dropping collection in shades of ivory, black and red inspired by the classic British wedding, with garments draping across bodies effortlessly. Above we have a gorgeous trio of jumpsuits. Omar has used beautiful fabrics such as silk jersey, crepes to sheer nets blended with Lycra for his AW14 collection.
I particularly love the structured look of these jumpsuits as they appear to look rather structured and tailored, the finished effect with fabrics that drape and dart in at the right places creates this aesthetically pleasing style which makes me want to own one in every single colour. The ruby Red Jumpsuit stands out a mile, with a daring love neckline you can be sure to turn heads in this outfit. The Black jumpsuit has more of a relaxed chic feel to it, with a high neck and simple light blue detailing to the front, this jumpsuit is truly versatile. The ivory cowl neck jumpsuit just catches your eye immediately. The fabrics work well with the body and totally compliment the models figure; again I really love the constructed and draped effect Omar has created with this latest collection. More demure, classic and enviable.
We see the Ruby Red featured again with this stunning knee length Cowl Neck Dress, the fabrics drape beautifully, with such an elegant construction, a gorgeous flirtatious design which would be perfect for an evening out or an event, especially if you are looking to turn some heads.
You cannot go wrong with a sleeveless Black Jumpsuit especially if it has some sparkle to it. This jumpsuit redefines the Little Black Dress for those who just plain and simply do not wear dresses. But more than that, jumpsuits are hugely accessible for everyone, providing the perfect balance between comfort and glam. I love the sparkling detail at the top in contrast with the black bottoms, all topped off with an electric blue thin waistband which complements and breaks up the black.
Lastly we have the dazzling asymmetrical dress with sheer embellished sleeves and embellished overlay, perfect dress for the ball. I love the elegance of this dress; it dazzles the eye just wonderfully.
Monochrome magnificent! This is Omar showing a more relaxed chic side to his collection. These garments can be easily accessorised to transition from daytime to evening, the perfect outfits for garden parties, late lunches and daytime events. The beautiful Monochrome playsuit has a soft romantic look to it. The ivory camisole top really works well with the black playsuit bottoms; this would be a great versatile summer wardrobe investment. Centre we have another relaxed chic black jumpsuit with a simple camisole top and subtle red detailing to the side of the cross over cami. Again another easy to wear item, transition from work to play very easily with some heels and statement necklace.
We see the monochrome inspiration again in the final picture above where we have a jumpsuit version of the playsuit, luxuriously floaty fabrics to compliment your shape.
The last of the collection above has a more opulent feel to it. Luxurious and rich fabrics with a regal appeal. I can certainly see the Duchess of Cambridge donning one of these gorgeous Omar Mansoor dresses. Such quality and elegance, the fabric compliments the female body – amazing garment construction.
