Fashion forward Danish Wakeel showcased his cutting edge, state of the art fashion collection names ‘Retrofression’ at London Fashion Week.
The event was held at the fabulous Royal Borough of Chelsea and Kensington at the fabulous Gore hotel.
Guest arrived to watch the highly styled and opulent Retrogression show. Press, international buyers and fashionistas all applauded the wonderful show.
Danish Wakeel describes his widely anticipated collection “Retrogression” as luxurious and self-indulgent , inspired by decadence, debauchery and drugs.
He was inspired by the Irish writer and poet Oscar Wilde who became known for his biting wit, spectacular dress and glittering conversations. Wilde became one of the best known personalities of his day.
Danish was further inspired by the era of 1920’s America which he saw as a period of significant change for many Americans after the great war.
