I attended the Fashion Seeker Launch in London recently, a great gathering to celebrate such a revolutionary way of discovering fashion. Fashion Seeker is… the place to seek out fashion. From all over the UK you can source Boutiques, Dress Agencies and Stylists all in one place.
I got myself on the train to London, dressed in a Topshop Boutique Asymmetric Navy Draped Dress, Vintage Gold Belt, and Nude heels from Aldo. I was meeting my dear friend Blaize, who I have known for over ten years; my fellow compadre and partner in crime since University.
As we arrived at the event in the Strand, we were greeted with such a warm welcome from Kimberley of She Is All PR and was swiftly introduced to Paula Fry, the creative mind behind Fashion Seeker.
After meet and greets and finding the vino, we were told to investigate what was going on downstairs. Once at the bottom, we were welcomed by two cocktail makers from Outrageous shaking up their selection of Mojito’s. I settled for the Mango, Blaize opted for the Strawberry. Both were divine, in fact, better than divine, simply heaven. Way way way to easy to drink. Mine was like a fresh breakfast juice, smooth and so exquisitely delicious.
Blow Ltd were sponsoring the fabulous event, they had an amazing set up prepared. Guests of the Fashion Seeker Event were being treated to either a make over or a hair style by their fabulous experts. I opted for some beachy waves and jumped at the chance to try out the Kevin Murphy Pink Colour Bug. Blaize opted for a smokey eye and a healthy glow, the make up artist made her eyes pop using a grey eye pencil shaded in with a nude shadow. Just gorgeous.
At the end of the event I was given a jam-packed VIP Goody Bag – literally filled to the brim! Inside was a great selection of items including, Skinny Tan, Umberto Gianni Heat Protection Spray, Leather Wrap Bracelet from STORY, a renewing health drink by FTN BELIEVE as well as lots of other bits and pieces.
The evening was such a delight, a great turn out and I got to meet some lovely people including the lovely Nixalina from Sex and London City, a great event indeed.
If you haven’t checked out Nixalina’s blog – Sex And London City.. you really should. Find out what all the fuss is about here.
