#tbt| New Years Eve and a round up of our best 2015 moments

This week we are throwing back our Thursday to all our favourite moments from 2015.

It started with a bang, as it was in January 2015 that we started working together as a blogging duo, moving the blog on from its well honed solo voice of 3.5 yrs of Danielle’s love for minimal design and high end skincare and beauty and opening it to a wider audience with the introduction of a new voice in the form of Natalie’s colour loving zany take on all things fashion and beauty.

In just one short year we’ve sat front row at LfW, met some amazing people, sipped champagne with some of fashions biggest names, hired a PR, worked with incredible brands, been to some fantastic exhibitions, and formed a friendship that will last a lifetime.

Here’s our top moments from 2015:

Meeting our biggest heroes

The moment we met Zandra Rhodes, Christopher Kane, Paul Costello and Andrew Barton were all pretty special, but we’ve met some other amazing people like fashion Illustrator Sue Dray, had afternoon tea with fellow blogger Prince Cassius

  Getting on YouTube:

We giggled like school girls and got the angle all wrong but we got ourselves on YouTube finally! We will be back to this with force in the new year so make sure you are subscribed!!

London Fashion Week:

Our first London fashion week together was pretty amazing! Danielle got filmed for Marks and Spencer’s trend report, Natalies outfit attracted the eye of New Romantic Phillip Strange at the Pam Hogg show (as a fashion historian this was a BIG deal for her!) we got to wear SS16 collections from Libertine x Libertine, Jakke and Hide, and we met some amazing new friends such as the lovely Liam, art director at Glass Magazine.

Exhibitions:Savage Beauty, Louis Vuitton Series 3, Thea Porter, Shoes Pleasure and Pain. The list of Londons fashion exhibition goes on and on for 205 and we’ve loved both visiting these as well as sharing our experience and thoughts with you our readers this year.

Watching our numbers grow month after month:

There is no better reward as a writer then to see your readership growing steadily month after month and ours has done just that. Our soci media channels has grown at a crazy rate too, from less then 400 to over 3k this year. Thanks to each and everyone of you who have genuinly followed us, enjoyed what we’ve written and support us along the way. We said we would never ‘buy’ a like it a follow as it wouldn’t mean anything so to each and every one of you who follow us and like what we do, THANK YOU. You make it all worth while.

Ladyloves x Shoptiques:

Our very first Instagram takeover! Whoop whoop! And boy was it a goody when American etailer Shoptiques invited us to takeover their Instagram account to coincide with their UK launch!

 Graduate Fashion Week

Again massive love for this event where we got attend the shows and to meet some of the greatest upcoming design talent. Made us feel proud to be British and excited for the future of fashion.

Christmas in July?!

Seriously. Rushing around in blistering July heat, in London, while toasting Xmas, eating mince pies and trying on and falling in love with Sherling! Totally fun and we can’t wait for next years Christmas to come in July!

And finally Hiring our PR:

Saving the best till last, the best moment of 2015 for us was deciding to hire our PR representative Deborah Simpson-Boston. As beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside this wonderful woman has introduced us to so many wonderful brands and Prs and created amazing opportunities for us along the way, single handedly managed our London Fashion Week agenda of shows, parties, presentations and more importantly what we were going to wear! We 💕 you Debs!!!!

So here’s to 2016! We can wait to see where it will take us!

We hope you are seeing in the new year in suitable fashion and look forward to sharing 2016 together!!!
