A Look Back At Last Season LFW – Steven Tai | Lady Loves Fashion

Another season, another fashion week. As we get ourselves geared up for tomorrow’s show schedules and parties, we thought it would be apt to reflect on last season, and get us in the mood for all the British fashion we are going to engorge ourselves in.

Each year we allocate some hours to peruse the presentations. While I love myself a catwalk show, there is something muted and understated about the presentation. Almost like a real life art installation. It feels very open and inviting that the models are situated inside a theme and we the viewer can mingle between the creative vision of the designer.

Really seeing the garments up close. Steven Tai adopts this granny chic vibe with the decor in his presentations. I love that hi is impaired by the quirky girl, the relaxed tomboy look and those that defy trends. (Me all over the back).

Last season was heavy influenced by well tailored garments and clean lines that have a real feminine feel whilst remaining relaxed. Polka dots and ruffles are a few of the design details that caught our eyes. We can’t wait to see what SS17 has to offer. See some of last seasons presentation below.
