You may have noticed the weather take a bit of a turn recently. It has suddenly got very cold. So cold in fact that I feel the need to revamp my whole wardrobe with ‘sensible’ clothes that are winter appropriate. With the theme of Hygge running all this month we wanted to share with you our Minimal V Maximal Chunky Knit Edit. Because at this time of year, knitwear is fashion porn!
Danielle’s favourite chunky knits
The Oversized Grey Jumper from ZARA. It won’t break the bank and it will be a great wardrobe staple. Simplistic design details such as the ripping down the front and sleeves adds a grunge edge to it. This would be my go to daytime sweater to wear with skinny black jeans and my leather boots and biker jacket.
The Simplistic Cream High Neck Jumper by Cos. This is more of a luxury style knit. Flawless tailoring for a minimal look, I have envisioned this jumper with some skinny navy jeans, tan boots and a Tan maxi coat. The circle shape design will mean the fabric falls effortlessly over the hips (as well as being a bit fuller with fabric – it will hide a multitude of sins)

The one to save for:
Every season Christopher Kane releases a ridiculously expensive jumper that I simply can’t imagine my life without having it in it. This season did not disappoint and I’m currently lusting after this AMAZING ‘Kane’ emblazoned knit. Mine for a mere £500 😂🙈
The one to buy now!
While I might not get a new Kane knit each season I do however always invest in a new knit from Cos, as their offerings always statement and well priced. This Frilly sleeved piece is a great example of such, perfect for jeans on the school run or dressed up with skirts for meetings in London. I particularly love the green shade but it’s available in Black also. £69
