Angela Langford Bloom & Glow Oil Review

Last week I caught up with the lovely Angela Langford of Angela Langford Skincare in an interview about her story and brand. It was refreshing to hear the process of how these products came to life, and in particular. The products she cannot live with out.

I have been using the Bloom & Glow Radiance Oil regularly over the last few weeks, and I too can now say, I am a total convert.

Loyal readers of Lady Loves will know about my obsession with facial oils, body oils, hair oils, pretty much every kind of oil for the body. This one, contains Sea Buckthorn Oil which is actually a little secret weapon in terms of ingredients. It is jam packed full of all four Omegas as well as many healing properties which make it a wonderful facial oil.

Angela says;

Chia seed & sea buckthorn are blended together to deliver high levels of essential fatty acids, vitamins & antioxidants – it improves skin’s elasticity, calms inflammation & restores radiance.

As Angela points out above, and in her interview, the Sea Buckthorn works wonders at being able to calm the skin, it also helps calm hormonal skin too, it came to my rescue that ‘dreaded week’ in the month and I haven’t looked back since.

Sea Buckthorn is actually an ingredient I have been a fan of for many, many years. When I first discovered a body oil and read somewhere that with enough application of Sea Buckthorn it could tint the skin with a healthy glow. Needless to say my pale skin was all over that statement like a melted shellsuit. The oil is a vibrant orange colour, but tinting the skin, it did not.

Angela langford Bloom and Glow radiance oil review

The Bloom & Glow Radiance oil has a slight citrusy smell to it, almost like oranges but not as pungent. It’s a dream to apply and massage into the skin. I really began to notice a difference in the overall radiance of my skin after about four days. It has made my skin better in terms of a base for my foundation. As well as being less oily, it seems to have calmed everything down leaving my skin looking rested and radiant. I need this on tap.

With Hygge in mind, I have been treating this product like a ritual. Really setting aside the time to indulge in this process, savouring every second. My face can be quite puffy with fluid retention and so facial massage is something I do not do enough of. I have tried religiously to implement facial massage into the application process with Bloom & Glow. So it’s more than just applying an oil, it feels more like a moment to transport the senses, relax, and really enjoy the moment. It’s an extra 5-10 minutes into my routine, but it makes you stop and take notice of the small things in life we take for granted.
