Now Iv heard of mulled wine, the red stuff but I haven’t ever really exerienced a mulled wine using white wine. That was until Black Tower sent me a bottle along with a recipe for Autumn Spiced Wine. You don’t have to ask me twice.
I was keen to get cracking and test it out on the girls, who were due round for our weekly craft night session. The recipe below is really easy to follow, you basically bung it all in a pot and stir. It makes the nicest warm winters drink, with orange and spicy tones from the cinamon and star anise. Give it a try, you can pick Black Tower up from most supermarkets and find the recipe below.
Black Tower Autumn Spiced Wine
Ingredients:
– Half a bottle of Black Tower Fruity White
– Juice of an orange
– 4 tablespoons of caster sugar
– A generous squidge of honey
– 3 cloves
– 2 star anise
– Cinnamon
– Orange peel to garnish
Directions:
Combine all of the ingredients in a pot and bring to the boil.
Lower the heat and gently simmer for 10- 15 mins.
Serve to your delicious toasty cocktails and enjoy!
It is a truly delicious sweet and spiced wine to have at this time of year. A perfect excuse for a Hygge moment, your bound to have a good nights sleep after one or two of these anyway.

It is so delicious. Who knew white wine worked too!
I bet this smells so Christmassy. I used to love having a Winter Pimms at the German market in Edinburgh.
You know it is exactly like the ones from the German markets. Spicy and very aromatic! X

Ooh I’m not too keen on spiced drinks but I bet it smells like Christmas x
